Karen

Karen was born and raised in Orlando, Florida. She got started in the business world in 1985 and operated a general contracting company for 10 years.

One day a young child touched Karen's life. A four-year-old girl who had never seen the world clearly came to our office for her first eye exam. There was not a dry eye in the office when this little girl put on her glasses and saw the world and her family for the first time. Karen's life changed quite a bit, too.

Karen has extensive training in generating and manufacturing optical lenses, dispensing, adjusting, and troubleshooting prescriptions. As a patient care specialist, she has also promoted continuing education. We are pleased to have Karen as a leader of the Eye Care Health Team.

Kim

Kim grew up in the Bay Area and has lived in San Jose and Sunnyvale all her life.  She studied briefly at DeAnza College before taking her first job in optics for a national optical chain.  While there, she received training and experience with optics, glasses, and contact lenses.  She went on to become the lead technician of the contact lens department, ordering and fitting contact lenses.  In 2005 she made the transition to private practice optometry and primarily worked in the LASIK co-management department in Campbell.  In 2006 she tried a new path and began working in a LASIK surgery center but missed the personal touch that optometry offers.  She joined Eyes in February and has been a valuable addition to the Eyes Family.

Candace

Candace is a native of the Bay Area.  The rewarding experience of assisting others with their well-being through exercise classes led her to pursue a career in optics.  She took and completed an Optical Assistant Program at the Martinez Adult Education Facility and recently passed her ABO (American Board of Opticianry) exam to become a certified Optician.  Her passion for health and balance is evident in her lifelong practice of Tai Chi.  She looks forward to meeting you and wants to do all she can to help our patients achieve and maintain great vision. 

Deanna

Deanna grew up in Mountain View and has been involved in retail locally since 2005.  She attends classes part-time at Foothill and Canada Colleges. In Deanna’s free time she loves doting on her 4-year-old niece, Kaley. She is our new receptionist and looks forward to assisting you when you call or stop in.
